Nicole Lister is a Sydney based ceramist who likes to explore the possibilities of clay and experiment with technique to realise her conceptual ideas. She is predominately known for her Limoges porcelain vessels and sculptural installations that transform paper and other packaging materials into exquisitely crafted objects of beauty and contemplation.
She has won numerous awards and grants since commencing her professional practice in 1998 and has exhibited in Australia and overseas . One of her works, Crushing Desire, can be seen on permanent exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum Sydney.

Most recently Nicole has taken time out to raise her young children. She looks forward to making more work in the coming years.
